As much as it pains me to say it...

I'm a Long Island boy though and through. I grew up about a 50-minute drive outside of Manhattan, in the North Shore Long Island town of Huntington, New York. The grandson of a Madison Avenue advertising executive from the Mad Men era, and the son of an aspiring novelist (he recently self-published — you can find his book here), writing has always been in my blood.

And yet, it took me years to realize that. During my time at Dartmouth College, I majored in Molecular Genetics with ambitions in medicine. Fortunately, my creative streak won out and upon graduation, with a degree in biology and zero editorial experience to speak of, I tried to break into the family business.

It was six months until I landed an unpaid internship at UrbanDaddy.com. Since then, I've served full-time as the Copy and Content Manager for UNIONMADE in San Francisco, California and the Brand Editor for Bespoke Post in New York City. I’ve also done my fair share of freelance writing for publications the likes of GQ, The Manual, and PUNCH, as well as for brands such as 54 Celsius, Harry’s, Dollar Shave Club, and more.
